Situated Language and Embodied Dialogue (SLED) Research Group

Language use in our human-human communication is shaped by our goals, our shared experience, and what we know about each other’s ability, knowledge, and belief. At the SLED group (formerly, the LIAR group), we develop computational models for language processing that takes into account rich situational and communication context and building embodied AI agents that can communicate with humans in language.
